Jakarta, April 22, 2025 — Oaken Lab believes that scent is not merely what we smell—it's a story we tell, and a reminder of what we love. This Earth Day, we're thrilled to launch our Recycling Program again, a genuine step towards a greener tomorrow.

After a temporary break, our recycling program is back with greater depth and new partnerships, each based on a common vision that actions, however small, can bring about lasting change.

Working Together for Responsible Waste Management

In Jakarta, our Plaza Indonesia and Grand Wijaya stores now collaborate with Duitin—a social platform that collects and recycles waste materials. Used Oaken Lab bottles and packaging can now be returned by customers, which will be processed and reused through Duitin's responsible waste network.

In the meanwhile, our Bali store in Pererenan collaborates with ecoBali, a green organization established in 2006. EcoBali is dedicated to holistic waste management on the island, ranging from source segregation and recycling to composting facilities and environmental education, all designed towards a zero-waste Bali.

Sustainability, By Design

Since the beginning, Oaken Lab has made it a priority to be environmentally responsible in our product development and purchasing. We're dedicated to using materials with minimal environmental impacts and to creating enduring objects that can be refilled, reused, or recycled.

Reviving our Recycling Program is an extension of that philosophy: a reminder that sustainability is not a choice, but a mindset.

An Invitation to Join the Journey

This isn't a quest to be greener or more perfect. It's a gentle invite to participate—to consider how the products we utilize may have a second life, and how every small step adds up.

We encourage you to return your empties to any Oaken Lab branch and become part of this collective endeavor. Sometimes the best we can do is just begin.

Let's choose progress, not perfection.

Let's give our stories—and our flasks—a second chance.
